The key to long-lasting pain relief and injury prevention is to get at the root causes of your injury. Often, this is muscle imbalances, weakness or overcompensation in certain areas that cause your body to malfunction over time or under stress.
When you correct this weakness or imbalance so that your body is functioning properly, you are not only able to heal naturally but you are stronger and better equipped to handle the stress of activities in the future. That means you can keep playing sports at a high level, enjoying pickleball on the weekends, taking long runs, or just enjoying time with your kids. And that's what this is really all about.
Who want to eliminate their pain and get back to living a full life
Who need to recover quickly and build strength for the future
Who want to be able to safely play their favorite sports for years to come
Whose kids won't let them slow down for an injury
Who want to get back to their game and their friends as soon as possible
Who need their bodies to be healthy and strong to continue their passion
What people like you are saying about Beaumont PT:

Elise knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the medical field, but it wasn’t until she experienced her own sports injury that she discovered her passion for physical therapy. At 16, she tore a ligament in her knee while landing from a jump during a volleyball game. Learning she would need reconstructive surgery—and that her senior year of high school would look very different than she had planned—was devastating. But during her own rehabilitation, Elise saw firsthand how powerful physical therapy can be in helping people reduce pain and return to the activities they love.
Over the years, Elise has also seen another side of healthcare. She has worked in busy clinics where patients waited 30 minutes, spent most of their visit with staff, and only saw the clinician briefly. That experience shaped her philosophy and is exactly why she founded Beaumont PT. She believes patients deserve individual attention, hands-on treatment, a therapist who truly listens, and assessing the whole body. It is all connected.
In her 25 years of practice, Elise has helped hundreds of patients of all ages—including professional dancers at the Charlotte Ballet and Roanoke Ballet —recover from injury and return to the activities they enjoy. She specializes in hands-on manual therapy, the Graston Technique for soft-tissue release, dry needling, and Medical Therapeutic Yoga. She especially enjoys helping people who feel stuck after traditional treatments, previous physical therapy, or even surgery.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys yoga, tennis, walking, and cheering (sometimes a little too loudly) for her two daughters when they are on the court or field.
